ONLINE REVIEWS OF LARSON'S VOLVO REPAIR

Larson’s was recommended to me by 3 different people. I had just found out from my regular mechanic that my ‘07 XC90 needed a new transmission, so I was in the market for a new Volvo instead of sinking more $ into it. I took the new one I was test driving by Larson’s to see if he could check out for me and he asked what was wrong with my old one....long story short Peter looked at my Volvo, and I did NOT need a new transmission. He saved me from buying a new car. I have since taken my Volvo XC90 to him for all repairs.

The last time I took it for a tune up, he had a shop car that he let me use for the day! Super awesome since I had to get to work and didn’t want to waste time with uber/public transport. I would recommend Larson’s to ALL of my friends and family that own Volvos!!!

I’ve owned Volvos for over 40 years and have found only two shops I like, and this is one of them. Knowledgeable, well priced, and friendly.
Highly recommended.

The shop is under new ownership and I couldn’t be happier with my recent service. Pete is a skilled mechanic and brings a level patience, friendliness and integrity that is sometimes hard to come by in the automotive industry. Great experience—I’ll definitely recommend this shop to friends and coworkers!

I love my 1986 Volvo 240, and have been taking it to Larson’s for a couple of years. I am very happy to say that Peter, the new owner of Larson’s, is fantastic! Peter did great work, carefully and very promptly. He is easy to talk with, and clearly knows his Volvos. His prices are reasonable and he stands by his work. I could not recommend him more highly.

Larson’s has a new owner. He is very knowledgeable about all makes of cars and a great mechanic!! i appreciated his honesty and integrity and at no time did I feel pressured. He explained everything in detail and was very patient with the fact that I know very little about cars! I will definitely be a customer for life! :-)

We recently bought a used S60R that needed repairs. Pete did a really thorough inspection, told me what he found but didn’t pressure me into fixing anything that wasn’t an immediate need. I really appreciated that. The quote and turnaround were accurate. The prices were in line with the other quotes I got. Overall, very happy with their work and would definitely recommend to others.

Great service. I have a 1990 volvo wagon and have been taking it to Larson’s since I moved to Seattle 5 years ago. Peter is a great person and an even better mechanic. Will give you a fair, itemized estimate, will explain and show you exactly what is going wrong and what he will need to fix, and keeps great communication. Couldn’t recommend higher.

Fantastic service. These guys know the volvo, and they can service my jeep as well. It is very comforting when you have a great mechanic you can trust!

Peter is very thorough and helpful in prioritizing urgent repairs vs those that can wait. I wouldn’t trust my car to anyone else!

I wanted to thank Larson’s for their phone consultation just now — the man who answered the phone (whose name I didn’t catch) was kind enough to take a few minutes out of his morning to advise me on the rust that is unfortunately consuming my 1988 244’s undercarriage under the rubberized coating.

The expert explanation he gave me for why it was happening was something I had not heard yet from my own trusty Volvo mechanic, nor through my internet searches, and his advice was sober and straightforward.

I came away with an excellent impression of this Volvo repair shop after this conversation, and will not hesitate to travel there for future classic Volvo repairs.

Thank you, Larson’s!

I have had Peter as my trusted and reliable technician for over 10 years.

I am so proud of his achievements in now owning and managing his own company!

I, without hesitation, strongly advise anyone in need of any type of service on their vehicle, no matter what make or model, to contact Peter directly and see just how professional, efficient and honest an auto repair business can possibly be!

Wishing his company, Larson’s Volvo Repair continued success!

Peter bailed me out with an emergency repair on the day before Thanksgiving to prevent me from being stranded. Very knowledgable about Volvo repairs and had needed parts on the shelf. Excellent customer service. Best of all was willing to communicate with me (a female) respectfully as a person. Confirmed with my mechanic when I got home and work was done at a fair price! Couldn’t ask for more. Would definitely return and highly recommend this shop to anyone!

Just moved here from out out state and there was a lot of anxiety revolving around finding another mechanic for my Volvo XC90, especially after having the same mechanic for 8+ years. During my searches for a shop, I looked up both reviews online and I also met a few Volvo owners personally. All roads lead to Larson’s Volvo Repair.

Unfortunately, I am running into some very costly issues and needed repairs. I had many questions for the owner Peter revolving around the repairs, the urgency and the cost. He was very thorough, patient and understanding when addressing my concerns. We came up with a plan of attack and prioritized the work needed, which softened the sticker shock blow for me. Once comfortable and confident with the shop, I authorized Larson’s to do the first of the work, I came into a bill that was a few hundred dollars less than the original estimate! That, with the fact that they vacuumed my vehicle before releasing it to me gets them 5 stars. I was very satisfied and will be a future customer.

Peter (and Dave) of Larson’s Volvo are simply the best, in every sense of the word. I found them online, through Yelp actually, when I was searching for a new garage to service my 2004 Volvo XC70. After a couple years of being unsatisfied with the local big box Volvo guys, I decided I needed to change up my mechanic, and I now have a relationship for life. From the first time I took my Volvo into Larson’s, I have been at total ease. Peter’s disarming and honest approach was so earnest and refreshing, I couldn’t help but feel my car was in the right hands. He did a full inspection just to figure out what (if anything) needed to be done, and then gave me a thorough and honest breakdown of the car’s status. Instead of pushing me to get any and everything done that wasn’t 100%, he gave me a prioritized list to help me understand what was really important and why. He has always acted as if it were his own car – and this is key – instead of just doing things to make more money. He provides an honest breakdown of what is going on, how much things will cost, and an honest assessment of whether it’s worth it or not, and often it’s not. And then 2 years down the road, when that deferred maintenance becomes a bigger issue, you not only know it’s coming but have complete trust and faith that Peter and Dave are doing everything right. Over 3 years or so, there have been numerous occasions where Peter has gone out of his way to help me save costs – whether it’s him scrounging his contacts to find used replacement parts when appropriate, or giving my wife and me the assurance we need that doing something in 6 or 12 months down the line won’t be a problem. I simply cannot stress enough how happy I am to have found Larson’s, and I will continue to go out of my way to recommend them to friends. My car is likely nearing the end of its life, and I remarked to Peter how I may have to buy another Volvo just so I can keep him as my mechanic, but he assured me they can do basically any car! So Volvo or not, take your car to Larson’s if you want exemplary service, 100% transparency, good pricing, excellent work, and an awesome mechanic.
